Dear Members of Sandy Photography Club and Guests,
Did you know, the word “photography” was created from the Greek roots φωτός (phōtos), meaning “light”, and γραφή (graphé) meaning “representation by means of lines” or “drawing” – putting these together gives the meaning “drawing with light”?
I would like to invite you to our next Workshop X the subject being “drawing with light”, which is literally the meaning of photography.
We will meet on Saturday 9th December outside Sandy Library at 5.45pm.
Please bring with you: camera, tripod, wide angle lenses, remote shutter release, torches or any source of light and … a bottle of wine! (optional!)
The forecast is perfect – a cloudless sky and temperature about 0 degree, so please wrap up warm!!
After the Workshop I am planning for us to go to a pub for a pre Christmas drink where we can talk more about this workshop.
Please, could you let me know if you will be able to come along.
All the best to you 🙂
Carlos
