photography event will be at Sandy Carnival!
Everyone is welcome to take part in this event at Sandye Place Academy on Saturday 8 June.
Sandy Photography Club’s project will be to capture a historical snapshot of the many happy faces of Sandy – we did a similar project last year at the ‘Party on Potton’ Big Weekend, with great success.
An on-site photo studio with backdrop and lighting will be set up to take portrait photographs of individuals, families or friends which can be emailed to participants.
This event will give SPC an opportunity to integrate further with the local community, promoting the club, and demonstrating the enjoyment of photography.
The images taken at Sandy Carnival will be used to create an exhibition, and will also be published on SPC’s website and social media community groups. Following the Carnival, the intention is that SPC will set up local exhibitions for the public, at venues in Sandy and surrounding towns/villages.
If you would like to become a member of SPC and learn about portrait photography, using our equipment, you would be more than welcome to come and meet and talk with us at this event.
Carlos Santino, SPC’s founder member, as a professional photographer, will be directing and supporting the photo shoot sessions.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.
