Happy New 2022 Year to All Members and Friends of Sandy Photography Club
What could be better to celebrate the New Year, and our fourth anniversary, than going on a photo shoot with a large group of enthusiasts?
I am happy to announce that this year SPC will be joining the Sandy Green Wheel Winter Walk, organised by Sandy Council Town.
We will explore the wintery countryside around Sandy, including the Pinnacle, the Riddy Nature Reserve, and along the banks of the River Ivel. It will also be a good opportunity to meet new people, out in the open air, with plenty of space to keep safely distanced while enjoying our walk.
The full route takes about 2½ hours, but you can find a pace that suits you and walk as much or as little as you like.
For this Workshop we will be practicing our skills, and refreshing our photography knowledge.
Let’s meet at Sandy Library on Sunday 9th January at 8.45am (as the main walk starts at 9am) and then we will join the main group on their walk – whilst we are walking, we will collect images of the event.
After all this, or when we decide/prefer, we will finish as usual at a coffee shop for a warming tea or coffee, as I have some more good news to share with you!
I cannot wait to see you for our first outing of the year!
Yours Carlos
